Sisteria is a podcast about women’s experiences as creators & consumers of arts & culture.

Each episode, hosts Stephanie Van Schilt and Veronica Sullivan shine a spotlight on the work of a different Australian woman or non-binary creative via a longform interview, delving into how gender influences their creative practice and engagement with the arts.

Sisteria’s first season featured writers, comedians, performers, arts workers and editors, covering topics as varied and diverse as mental health, motherhood, politics, sport and dating etiquette.

Submit your questions for our Arrogant Aunt segment – an exercise in overcoming imposter syndrome by offering advice with a level of authority we don’t really believe we have – or let us know if there’s a topic or guest you’d love to hear us cover via email: sisteriapodcast@gmail.com.

Sisteria is available via iTunes, SoundCloud, or however you get your podcasts. Chuck us a review if you have time, we’d really appreciate it.

Sisteria is recorded at the Kathleen Syme Library, Naarm, on the sovereign land of the Eastern Kulin Nation. We acknowledge the true owners of the land, the Wurundjeri people, and pay respects to Indigenous elders past and present.

Our theme music by Rainbow Chan. The song is called “Last” and it’s available on SPACINGS.
